What is the fate of Huawei phones with Google services from updates?!

The license ,that is allowing Huawei to conduct limited business with U.S. companies, expired on August 13. This license allowed Google ,to provide Android software updates, security updates for devices
Old Huawei.

On the other hand, the company said that ,the original purpose of the license is to give U.S. telecommunications companies time,

to discover alternatives to Huawei companies, to oversee the infrastructure they use.

However, this latest development will not affect on all Huawei devices,

as it will not affect Huawei devices,

that were released prior to the trade ban imposed on Huawei, in May 2019.

These devices get updates directly from Huawei, not Google, because,

these devices use an open source version of the Android system.

From now security updates and other Google services will stop at huawei’s flagship devices, such as the( p30 )only.

As these devices are the only ones, that still have Google services.

Interestingly, Google has not commented on the future of Android updates for Huawei phones.

Where a company spokesman told the newspaper, that the temporary license was the one that allowed it to provide updates to Huawei,

so it could mean, that the updates would stop without that license.

For now, huawei smartphone owners, who have access to Google’s services, stay on hold until further notice.

As everyone knows, that the situation is not promising, as the United States has prevented the Chinese giant ,

from reaching global chip manufacturers, when the United States declared that, the Chinese giant a threat to U.S. national security.
