
Twitter has now released a fix for the auto-scrolling issue in the app. The new version of the app will now fix this problem. The iOS users who have encountered this problem can now fix this by just updating their Twitter app. That is, the users using the Twitter version of 8.1 can update their app to the new version 8.1.5. This will, indeed, fix the problem.
Twitter users have been frustrated by the app due to its auto-scrolling issue. That is, the users started complaining that the app does not allow the users to read the news or any article fully. The auto-scrolling feature automatically scrolls on a fixed timeline. This feature stops the user from controlling the app. This feature takes the control from the user from scrolling and reading the feeds at his or her convenience.
This issue, as of now seen only in the iOS apps that is in the iPhone or iPad only. Still now, there have been complaints from only the iOS users regarding the discomfort experienced due to the auto-scrolling issue. There has yet not been any complaints from the Android users regarding the discomfort.
Thus, Twitter acknowledged this issue, and for the past few days, it has been working to fix the problem. The Twitter support apologized, saying, “We know that your timeline auto-scrolling on iOS is frustrating, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. We’re working on fixing this now. Thanks for sticking with us”.
But now, Twitter has released the fix for this issue. The app can be updated from version 8.1 to 8.1.5 for fixing that. The latest updated app is available in the app store. The exact reason for this problem is not known. The vast number of tweets might also be the reason for the problem in the Twitter app. But the company did not say any reason for the problem caused.
Twitter simply acknowledged that their app had been affected by an automatic scrolling bug. The Twitter support said, “A fix for the auto-scrolling bug is rolling out now! Thanks for your patience while we worked on this. Please update your iOS app to version 8.1.5 when it becomes available for you”.
